I'm not sure what's going on, but would the persons who are using
this list -- inadvertantly, I hope -- to experiment with sending
long encoded files please stop!  My mailbox nearly went kaflooey
with the "essay" and its return (a rather pointless exercise, I
would think -- returning a 300-line message with a header saying
'I can't read this'??
