Cal Pryluck posted a query on behalf of Bob Smith relating to an
aesthetically-based approach to televison criticism. This is the sort of
thing that Herb Zettl has been doing at San Francisco State for some
years. His text, "Media Aesthetics" (I think) is quite provocative. I
don't believe that he is connected to internet, but you can contact him
at the Dept. of Broadcasting & Communication Arts, San Francisco State
Univ., 19th & Holloway Avenue, San Francisco< CA.
