The Smithsonian Institution Libraries is currently running an exhibition
entitled, "Tunnels! A Celebration." The exhibition covers the technological
and social issues involving many types of tunnels.

As part of the public programming for the exhibition, we will be doing a small
film festival where we hope to show various films with tunnels and tunneling
as themes or major characters (!?) in the films. So far we have found a few,
including *The Tunnel* (Sci-Fi, British, 1936).

In addition to films, any short subjects, or cartoons (we thought the
Roadrunner shorts would be entertaining), would be of interest.

If anyone on this list can suggest anymore, we will greatly appreciate your
help. Please respond to me directly or the list if you think it appropriate.

Thank you,
