In BONNIE and CLYDE, after Clyde kills his first man--the bank official on
running board who is shot in the face, and whose death turns the tone of the
film--Bonnie, Clyde, and CW Moss are shown at the movies. Clyde is very upset,
is giving CW hell about parking the getaway car. Bonnie is in a great mood,
because of the success of the robbery. The movie she's watching while they
argue is Gold Diggers of 1933, and the number "We're in the Money" is
onscreen. In the next scene, Bonnie sings (or maybe hums--I think sings) the
chorus; she's found it catchy (which, of course, it is).
