The Persona, Celebrity, Publics Research Group (PCP) at Deakin University, Melbourne, Australia, invites domestic and international students interested in PhD or postdoctoral research to apply for an Endeavour Scholarship or Fellowship:

Endeavour Scholarships and Fellowships are internationally competitive, merit-based scholarships provided by the Australian Government that support citizens of the Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Europe and the Americas to undertake study, research and professional development programmes in Australia and for Australians to undertake these programmes overseas. The Endeavour Scholarships and Fellowships programme forms part of the Australia Awards initiative established in 2009, which brings together under one banner scholarships offered by the Department of Education (the Department), Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research.

See: <https://aei.gov.au/Scholarships-and-Fellowships/Pages/default.aspx> https://aei.gov.au/Scholarships-and-Fellowships/Pages/default.aspx

PCP is an inter-disciplinary research group that explores the way modern identities are formed and shaped, and how the public is newly constituted. It focuses on persona studies, celebrity culture, and the intersections between the private and public in the modern world.

See our website for further details of the group, its work and membership: http://www.deakin.edu.au/arts-ed/scca/celebrity-persona/index.php
