Dear friends,

Just a quick note on the important re-appearance of a silent film. The 
television premiere of the Danish Film Institute's restoration of Alan Dwan's THE 
MODERN MUSKETEER starring Douglas Fairbanks is scheduled on Turner Classic 
Movies for Thursday, March 20 at 8:00pm. This was a cooperative effort between the 
DFI, Milestone, MoMA, Lobster Films, David Shepard and of course, Rodney Sauer 
and the Mont Alto Motion Picture Orchestra who orchestrated and performed the 
new score. Previously available only in a vastly shortened version, the 
restoration by the DFI brings it to close it's original length.
