Re. Leo Enticknap's info on the deteriorating color of Peeping Tom

Yes, I did notice a difference in the color quality between the videos
I've seen and the laser disk--However, there is definitely a
symbolic/thematic use of red in the film (even on the laser disk, which
doesn't have the overall redish hue of the videos I've seen)-- Helen's
dress is one example, and the red light that permeates Mark's viewing
room--
 
Again, I highly recommend the laser disk, for image and color quality--
