Off the top of my head, try Kirasawa (spelling) the japanese director,
whose films DREAMS came out several years ago.   Also DREAMSCAPE (1987) by
Joe Ruben and DREAMS by Ingmar Bergman.   If others come to mind, I'll jot
them down
