 Could this "silence" not denote shame for the way contemporary Hollywood has
now trashed the legacy of cinema? Celebrating a centenary in a year notable for
DIE HARDER, BATMAN FOREVER, and Forrest Dump's Academy award winning recognitio
n is really something not to be proud of.
