She's in luck -- I think Anubis figures heavily in the new "The Mummy Returns" -- out this May.

I'd also recommend a children book favorite (never filmed as far as I know) -- one of the Alfred Hitchcock Three Investigators series
"The Mystery of the Whispering Mummy" -- it's what started my lifelong interest in things Egyptian. I definitely recall an Anubis-headed figure or two in the book and on the cover.

Cheers,
Sharon Knolle
(You can also make you friend jealous by telling her I recently saw the Boris Karloff "Mummy" and the non-Karloff follow-up "The Mummy's Hand" at the Egyptian Theater on Hollywood Blvd. :->)

She since became an Egyptology major and is currently working in the Egyptian exhibit at the Buffalo museum. She has been dying to know, and the IMDB gives no help...

> "It's a queer world, and the longer I live in it the queerer I find it. Once I thought it would be a good idea to regulate things myself, and run the world as it ought to be run; but I gave it up long ago. The world's a stage, they say; but the show ain't always amusing, by a long chalk, and sometimes I wish I didn't have a reserved seat."--John Merrick, _Aunt Jane's Nieces_, by L. Frank Baum
