Another boxing film not to be missed: BODY AND SOUL (1947, dir. Robert Rossen),
w/ a terrific performance by John Garfield. Shot by James Wong Howe, won an Osc
ar for editing, etc. One of the rare times I agree w/ Leonard Maltin--this one
is a "classic."
