Call for Papers

GENDER STUDIES

The Southwest/Texas Popular Culture Association/American Culture Association 
invites submissions of papers and presentations examining aspects of Gender 
for its annual conference to be held February 13th-17th at the Albuquerque 
Hilton in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Possible topics for consideration include, but are not limited to:

Images of Gender in:
      Literature
      Film
      Art
      Photography
      History
      Politics
      Music or Radio
      Television
      Internet
      Theater
      Advertising
      Power struggle between the genders
      Stereotyping male or female roles
      Breaking the stereotypes

Please send proposals for papers, slide shows, video presentations, dramatic 
presentations, etc..... (250 words or less) by December 10, 2001 to:
