I would like to discuss this just a little bit further, because although
it can be argued that the use of these experimental techniques by Stone
may be "more serious" than MTVV I would suggest that those practitioners
from the experimental film scene (of which brakhage seems 2b the most
"known") would see little basic difference between NBK and MTV. It is
stillabout making money,the bottom line is bums on seats, entertainment
and the economics of it all takes the dialogue out of the streets and out
of the hands of those artists working there.
That is not as succinct as i would like 2b rite now but, its a start.;-))
