Can a film or book be a Western if it's not set in the West? Around
about 1969--which, I realize, is for some readers rather like the 19th
century--Leslie A. Fiedler published THE RETURN OF THE VANISHING

NY. Stein & Day. I'm fairly sure it's now out of print. If any
publisher is reading this list, think about getting this book back into
print immediately!
