Yes one of the characters in Sleep with Me is a screenwriter. One of the
scenes actually I think it's the last one where Stolz and his girlfriend
get into the fight takes place at the celebration party because "whoever
hit it big" Tarantino is talking to a girl, I think, in the kitchen or
hall about Top Gun.
 
        Separate but related Q? Was that idea of Top Gun around before SWM
or did was the movie it's "coming out?" Sorry about the (weak) pun
