You should add to your list Robert Bresson's LANCELOT DU LAC
(France/Italy, 1974) 84 mins.  And no doubt the Sean Connery vehicle,
Jean-Jacques Annaud's THE NAME OF THE ROSE (W Germany, Italy, France,
1986) 129 mins.
