Last night I saw the doc film _Manufacturing Consent: Noam Chomsky and the Media
_ . I feel that this film is a must for all people interested in the TV and
film industries (as well as politics). The film makes a joke about Mr.
Chomsky's label as the worlds most important intellectual, but I would seriously
contend that he is in fact the most important critical thinker in late
capitalism.
This is a limited release film, but I have taken the liberty to copy
the schedule so no one misses it, wherever you are in the country.

Those are all of the listings that I have, but the ad says "Other
locations to be announced" so keep a look out. Let me say again how important
I feel this film is. It is almost a documentary about Koyaanisqatsi. Noam
voices mankinds relationship with the earth, technology, and himself.
PS, this is not a paid advert, just a message from a media studies major
who is worried about society and the role media plays in it.
