Hi All,

I am attaching some information about a new film from Women Make Movies that might be of interest to you:

A PLACE OF RAGE: http://www.wmm.com/filmcatalog/pages/c908.shtml

Twenty-five years ago, the release of A PLACE OF RAGE (1991) was groundbreaking. Within the context of civil rights, racial and social justice, Black power and feminist movements, Angela Davis, June Jordan and Alice Walker reassess how African-American women revolutionized American society. This 25th Anniversary Special Edition DVD features new bonus material featuring a never before seen interview with scholar, icon and activist Angela Davis, and the late author and poet June Jordan reading her powerful piece A Poem About My Rights.

You might also be interested in a film by the same filmmaker, ALICE WALKER: BEAUTY IN TRUTH, http://www.wmm.com/filmcatalog/pages/c913.shtml> Learn more<http://archive.constantcontact.com/fs113/1110347634786/archive/1122755942915.html>.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions, I am always happy to accept requests for reviewing the film in an appropriate journal.

Thanks for supporting independent women filmmakers!

Best,
Amy Aquilino
