Actually, it was a Hong Kong film QT ripped off -- quite thoroughly, I
might add, though not only: There's still plenty of invention in "Rez
Dogs" to go around. I don't have the name of the HK film handy, but a
recent issue of "Film Threat" compared the films fairly closely and
included some frame-by-frame stuff that was shocking proof of the, uh,
reliance of "RD" on the original. There's more info on this to be found
in the "Rez Dogs" FAQ which is ocassionally posted in
rec.arts.movies.cult. Or someone there could lead you to an FTP site for
that FAQ. At any rate, bear in mind the words of T. S. Eliot: (slightly
paraphrased) "An immature artist imitates; a mature artist plagiarizes."
