Dear friends on the West Coast,
This is one of the excellent (and fun) events that the Association of Moving
Image Archivists sponsors -- a two day program on the newest and most
interesting ideas in audiovisual restoration and several cool screenings.
It's this August 21-22 in Los Angeles and there's program and registration
info at http://www.amianet.org/events/thereelthing/index.htm

Hope you can make it!
