Please help us spread the word about JCMS's FULLY-FUNDED grad school opportunity at Georgetown:

*FALL 2019* Editorial Assistant for JCMS: Journal of Cinema and Media Studies

The Editorial Assistant works with the Editor of JCMS (formerly Cinema Journal), the scholarly publication of the Society for Cinema and Media Studies, to process submissions to the journal, correspond with peer reviewers for the submissions, maintain the submissions and reviewer databases, and correspond with authors after the piece is either accepted, rejected, or flagged for revision and resubmission. The Editorial Assistant will also work with the Editor, Associate Editor, and Assistant Editors in preparing manuscripts for submission to the University of Texas Press, where JCMS is published, including book reviews and short articles for the journal’s topical “In Focus” section. The Editorial Assistant will also work with the Editor and Production Editor to improve the infrastructure of the journal.

Interested candidates should feel free to email the Editor with questions at caetlin[at]cinemajournal[dot]org
