There was a piece in the "Style" section of the Washington Post not too
long ago regarding Lee's _Malcolm_.  If memory serves, the thrust of the
piece was that Lee was running into trouble.  So much trouble, in fact, that
he was way over budget and the bond company had taken control of the
production.
        As to content, various blurbs, from both the Post and some periodicals,
I've read say that Lee is trying to go into a lot of depth regarding Malcolm's
trips abroad (specifically (I think) to Mecca).
        Hope this helps and my apologies to all for the truncated response I
sent previously.
