The Department of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of
Wisconsin-Milwaukee is seeking a visiting instructor for the 2008-2009
academic year. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in a relevant field,
teaching experience, and will be qualified to teach gender and the media as
well as introductory and advanced courses in humanistic approaches to media
studies. Highly qualified candidates who are ABD may also be considered. The
successful candidate will teach three courses each semester, including large
lecture and small seminar courses at all levels of the undergraduate curriculum.
 
The starting date is August 18, 2008. Applicants should send a CV, a
statement of teaching and research interests, copies of student evaluations
of teaching (if any), and the names and contact information of three
