        And what about Dominique Sanda?  The voice heard has a distinct
French accent yet I doubts that it would be the actor's voice speaking in
Italian.  Seems to me they used an Italian actor who reproduced a French
accent to fit Anna's persona.
        I recently saw the rerelease of *The Garden of the Finzi-Continis*
and Sanda was also dubbed in that film.
        I believe that Godard's *Contempt* (in its Italian release) is a
most interesting example, because dubbing actually kills the lines and the
role of the translator played by Giorgia Moll (Jack Palance's assistant).
Godard withdrew his name from the Italian copy of the film, etc.
