I am currently attending Emerson College in Boston. Although it may not be
considered one of the premiere film schools in the country, I think it has
a lot to offer. Classes are small and individual attention is available.
Many of the professors are professionals with a great deal of experience,
and are willing to offer their experience to you. There is a stong Emerson
network in L.A., and there is even a branch of Emerson out there as well,
where you can do an internship as well as take classes. Emerson College is
located right in the heart of Boston, and is truly a great experience if
you like city life. I agree with some of the others that a school can't
make you a filmmaker. It's what you put into it. But examine all your
options thoroughly, so you find a place where you're comfortable. If you
have any questions about Emerson feel free to E-mail me.
