I think the problem here is that freelancer is only around during the
production phase and not during the pre-production phase when the nitty
gritty analysis goes on. Even before official pre-production starts, the
screenwriter, producer and director (if hired yet) work out many of the
themes and their visual representation. By the time principal photography
begins, practical aspects take over and verylittle analysis goes on.
