Two films with screenwriters in significant roles are In a Lonely Place
with Humphrey Bogart and Sunset Blvd with William Holden.
 
As for movies about TV, there are Medium Cool, Broadcast News, and the
perfectly dreadful remake of The Front Page called Switching Channels.
