        I already posted something to the effect that Giancarlo Giannini
is *not* in *Bread and Chocolate.*  But this latest posting calls for
another clarification: Giannini was *not* in *Porte Aperte/Open Doors*
(1990?), directed by Gianni Amelio.  The male lead was Gian Maria Volonte'.
        This is becoming quite a pastiche of Italian cinema.
