Hello all,

I know a lot of us out there have been looking for Alexander Kluge
films on DVD, and now it's finally happening. The Munich Filmmuseum is
releasing a series of his films through Edition Filmmuseum
(www.edition-filmmuseum.com), in Region 0 PAL discs with optional
English subtitles. I just received _Abschied von gestern / Yesterday
Girl_ together with some titles by other directors. The company's
online order process and shipping was fast and efficient; they accept
credit card payments via PayPal.

I should point out that in addition to all the Munich
Filmmuseum-sponsored restorations and rarities, they're distributing
titles by the Austrian Filmmuseum, the Danish Film Institute, and
hard-to-find Lobster Films titles from France such as the marvelous
PREMIERS PAS DU CINEMA and the RETOUR DE FLAMME series.

Straub and Huillet's CLASS RELATIONS / Klassenverhältnisse is also
listed in the catalog for release in the near future, but there's no
exact date yet.

Very exciting stuff!

Cheers,
James Steffen
