Off the top of my head, I can think of:
M*A*S*H*
WEIRD SCIENCE
9 TO 5
FAST TIMES AT RIDGEMONT HIGH (I think?)
FRIDAY THE 13TH
AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON
Wasn't HAPPY DAYS an adaptation of AMERICAN GRAFFITI?
I'm thinking about films that (I assume) were intended for the long term.
Are you interested in things like miniseries adaptations?
The recent miniseries of THE SHINING was really well done (in my humble
opinion) -- better than the feature film, anyway.
