Dear List readers:  I hope this is an appropriate request.  After a dozen
phone calls to Edinburgh, I am convinced there are no more accommodations
available for the Film Festival.  I will be arriving from Prague on the
21st and will need a place for 21-24 August (then I will be giving a paper
at the Film/Culture/History conference in Aberdeen).  So, if anyone knows
of a place, private room for rent, for example, or if anyone would be
willing to share and split the cost, please let me know directly, as to not
clutter the list.  I know this is a long shot but...   Thanks.   David
