List members may be interested in a project for a new documentary on the life and films of Alice Guy-Blache, the French-American pioneer of early cinema, widely considered to be first woman filmmaker (including writing, direction, production and studio ownership), working in France and the U.S. from the 1890s into the 1920s.

The project is currently in the final hours of a funding drive via the Kickstarter website. For more information, go to http://benaturalthemovie.com/ and http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/benatural/be-natural-the-untold-story-of-alice-guy-blache.
