Does anyone out there know some of the details of the career of dancer
Tommy Rall, who was so terrific in Kiss Me kate and 7 Brides for 7 brothers?
I have thus far found a big gap from those mid-50s films to 1968 when he
appears (uncredited) in a comic ballet with Streisand in Funny Girl, then
a dance with Steve Martin in Pennies from Heaven in early '80s. Some evidence
that he was a professor of dance at U. Washington in early '70s. Can anyone
fill in the gaps? And/or tell me if he's still alive, still working? he doesn't
seem to have become a choreographer like Gower Champion or Bob Fosse, his
contemporaries. - Carole Shmurak
