In "Masculine Feminine" the two Maupassant stories are barely recognisable.
"The Signal" in particular, since it is reduced to the Bergman parody that
the characters see in a theatre.
ANother for the list:
Corman's "Masque of the Red Death" incorporates Poe's "Hop-Frog" as well as
the title story.
