One more: Tony Chan's COMBINATION PLATTER (1993), about Chinese
immigrants working in a Chinese restaurant in Queens.  Interesting for
the way it points out divisions among legals/illegals,
English/non-English speakers, Hong Kong/Mainland, and
Cantonese/Mandarin, among others.
