That sounds like _Color Adjustment_ by Marlon Riggs. It was part of the 1992
POV season. The American Documentary 330 West 58th St., Suite 3A, New York,
NY 10019 may be able to make the film available.

PS: I viewed the film just an hour ago. What a terrific film, his (MR) death
was a terrible loss to all in the documentary field.
