The National Park Service (NPS) is researching the history
of Paramount Ranch, owned by Paramount Studios circa
1926-1952. During this period approximately 175 films
representing a wide cross-section of feature, "B" movies,
and genre pictures were made at the Ranch. The Paramount
Ranch, presently owned by the NPS, provides an excellent
opportunity in the Park Service to preserve and interpret
movie making in the United States.

I am looking for information associated with either the
history of Paramount Studios, the former Paramount Ranch,
and historic movie ranches or individuals and organizations
          that may have such information.

Please send responses to: [log in to unmask]

          Thanks!!!!
