Actually, Walking and Talking has gotten quite a bit of press, including
reviews and a big ad in the New York Times.
 
I agree, though, "male" is viewed as the norm, with female the deviation.
We hear films [geared to women] called "chick movies" while the rest are not
referred to as "guys' buys."
