A question from a friend (that I was not able to answer):

Does anyone know about a series of plays that were put on film in the
1960's? The audience subscribed to the series and were allowed to see the
plays on film.

The name of the project and the film was something like AFT - American Film
Theatre or ATI-- American Theatre Institute. The plays put on film may
have included: ICEMAN COMETH, WAITING FOR GODOT, and MAN IN THE GLASS
BOOTH.
