A Summer Experience in Film for Undergra. and Graduate Credit
 
Emerson College is offering an unique and rewarding film experience in
Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic. One of the finest cities in
Europe, Prague is the capital of the Czech Republic and lies in the
heart of Europe.
 
This five week program offers students 8 credits of undergraduate
coursework or 4 credits of graduate coursework. The first course is a
film studies course on the history and development of Czech and Slovak
cinema with emphasis on the Czech New Wave, the most influential film
movement of the post World War II era.
 
The second course is a production course, Cinematic Language which
involves the shooting of a 35mm slide story board of the Charles
Bridge and the scripting, casting, location scouting, acting,
shooting, directing and editing of 5 to 7 minute production.
 
Program dates:  June 28--Aug. 2
