On Friday 29 September, "Angel Angst" asked about BALANCE:
it is by Christoph and Wolfgang Lauenstein (of Germany), and was nominated
for and won Best Animated Short for 1989 (at the 62nd Annual Oscars in 1990).
It runs 7'38". I had seen this in 1990 at the 22nd International Tournee
of Animation screened then at the Coolidge Corner Cinema in Brookline
(Boston), MA, and also thought it was an incredibly powerful piece of work.
I hope this helps you --
Renata Jackson
