You might also want to look at the documentary, "Last Call at Maud's"
which deals with the closing of the oldest Lesbian bar in San
Francisco.  Some interesting observations on changes in the Lesbian
community over the past few decades, particularly in the ways that
Lesbians meet and socialize.
