Reading Ed O'Neill's post reminded me of Julie Dash's *Illusions* -- a
short (34 min.) independent film about a African-American woman working
in Hollywood after WWII.  It would be a great double bill with *Devil
In a Blue Dress* -- a lineup which should provoke a good discussion on
racism in LA in a historical context.
