I certainly do.
Some time ago there was a subject on CINEMA-L called actors we love and
the ones we hate (and countless variations on the theme). I particepated
with much entusiasm my self, banning Julia Roberts, Jodie Foster, Harry
Hamlin and others from future filmmaking. And if I'm not terribly
mistaken I used the same words as you do: They make me sick! The paradox
is, however, that after these postings I have watched these actors from a
new point of view, and (maybe it's my concious haunting me) now I have
actually started to enjoy these actors more and more (although I still
believe Julia Roberts always was and always will be a bit of a hype.)

My point is that we hate actors for all kinds of reasons other than
whether they can act or not. Besides, one man's like is another man's
hate.

As for Johnny I totally disagree with you. Haven't seen to many of his
movies, I admit, but Edward Scissorhands blew me away big time. I saw
Dead Man a couple of weeks ago, and I believe it was one of the films
I've enjoyed the most the last couple of months, next to Clueless,
Chungking Express and Get Shorty (in no perticular order).

I don't know why mr. Depp choose all these odd (or in your words
_artistic_) roles. But I guess you can't call John Travolta's choice of
roles in the years between Blow Out and Pulp Fiction any more decent,
although they have nothing to do with PRETENTION!

Bye!

Xye..
