Emory University's Tam Institute of Jewish Studies and Department of Film
Studies are seeking a temporary part-time lecturer to teach three courses on
Jewish film during the 2008-2009 academic year (to be taught in one or both
semesters). The courses are imagined broadly and could be on Israeli
cinema, American Jewish film, European Jewish film, Jewish film, etc.

The start of Emory University's Spring 2009 semester will coincide with the
Atlanta Jewish Film Festival, and our hope is that this would be woven into
one or two of the courses.

The salary for teaching the three courses would be $20,000, with no benefits
attached.

If you know of colleagues who might be interested in this position we would
welcome a c.v. by June 15, 2008

Please contact: Prof. Matthew H. Bernstein, Chair, Department of Film
Studies, [log in to unmask]
