        I THINK there is only one lab in the U.S. that still processes
and prints B&W camera original.  Many labs do some B&W work but its
mainly for optical tracks, textless backgrounds, titles and such.  A
completly different stock and process.  I happened by the sound studio where
they were finishing up Schindler and several wags commented that it was a
big problem.  In fact, the wider release was help up because they
couldn't produce enough of the B&W release prints.  Of course, their
press folks said it was their intention to delay delivery.  Hey, they get
paid the big $ to say that stuff.
 
        Incindently, "Schindler" was posted the old-fashioned way,
cutting on Mag film, analog and so forth.
