I'm working on a paper on _The Hidan of Maukbeiangjow_ (Lee Jones, 1973) also known as _Invasion of the Girl Snatchers_. I'm assuming I'm the first person to do scholarly work on the film, and most of my research beyond the philosophers we are reading in class will involve reading some of the large body of metaphysical writings its screenwriters, Don Elkins and Carla Rueckert, have published (not to mention I'm in regular e-mail contact with the one who is still living, who gave me permission to adapt their novel). If anyone has heard of this film or knows of any material, other than online, written about that film, I'd very much appreciate it. MOMA didn't even have a Variety review for it.
