"Watermelon Woman" is a good example -- a perfectly good film that
(unfortunately) probably won't get past the festival & arthouse circuit.
Now Walking and Talking has gotten past that, and it's gotten tons of good
reviews, but I don't know, I guess I'm just fed up with the way the media
laches on to the latest boy-driven film (like Trainspotting). I guess
films have to be all flash & explosions to get media attention.
