Dear Deborah Smith,
Don't quit the list! This discussion on the way we
talk about films is one of the most important that's
occurred on the list. There are many ways to discuss films.
History and theory are two of the most important. History
has to be relearned all the time, and we tend to forget
that just like we forget the history itself. The language
of theory and criticism has to be relearned and respoken
all the time as well.
