New York Times had an interesting article on special effects in
Gump, when it was first released (a couple of months ago).  BTW, the
feather super in the titles cost over $100,000 and took over six months.
Also, LA Times Calendar had a piece on the elimination of Gary Sinese's
legs (been long enough, no spoiler required).  Send e-mail for specifics.

How about blatant comercial uses such as Humphrey Bogart or James Cagney in
